Channel 1: Burglary Response
Burglary protection- Your residence will be protected while you are at home as well as when you are away. On every security touch pad there are two settings, one called "away" and one called "stay". These two modes provide protection in different ways. The "away" setting, when activated arms all of the alarm system's sensors. This setting provides your home with complete protection from potential intrusions while you are away. Your door/ window sensors will all be activated along with any and all motion detectors. The "home" setting differs from the "away" setting by activating all of the door/ window sensors while leaving any and all motion detectors deactivated. This difference in the "home" setting allows your family to walk throughout your home without setting off the alarm.
Channel 2- Medical Response
Medical Response- Your family will enjoy additional peace of mind knowing that your monitoring company also offers medical monitoring services. This channel allows you to summon emergency medical response without possible 911 delays. We also offer monitored medical pendants for the elderly or disabled.
Channel 3- Fire Response
Fire Protection- In the event of a fire, this channel enables you to summon immediate fire response through your monitored system. Monitored Carbon monoxide and heat detectors are also available to you at an additional cost for the detectors. (typically $70 for each detector/ there is no extra monthly fee to monitor the detectors) In the event that a monitored fire detector is set off, the monitoring company will immediately notify the fire department.
*Once your new security system has been installed and activated, be sure to notify your current home owner's insurance company that you now have a monitored alarm system in your home and ask for the applicable discount. (Most insurance companies offer a 5%- 20% reduction in annual premiums)
